The business, brand and marketing support your doula course left out — now with 6 months of guidance for bigger & better results!

We don’t just talk about your brand, offers, content, leads & client experience.

We build them & launch them in real time!

Let me guess…

You finally bit the bullet and did your doula course.

You’re passionate about supporting women.

You’re trained in supporting birth, honouring transitions, and you know you’ve got what it takes to be an incredible birth worker.

But now you're staring at your screen thinking……

“Where will next months clients come from?”

“How do I scale this beyond 1:1 work so I don’t spend my entire life ‘on call’?”

“How do I stand out in a sea of birth workers saying the same thing?”

I get it, and I’ve been there.

These are very normal thoughts when you’ve been told how to support birth, but not to actually run or market a small business.

Your certification taught you how do the job, not how to be the CEO or a marketing genius.

Working IN the business?
No sweat.

But no one handed you a playbook for how to actually build a sustainable, visible, profitable business — one that feels aligned with who you are and how you want to show up in the world.

So - I’ve gone and done that for you.
Because the world needs the women supporting women to NOT be on the brink of burn out.

If any of these is on your 2026 bingo card, Doula in Demand is for you:

🤌 no longer spending hours on Canva agonising over what to post next

🤌 feeling rock solid in your offers, pricing, positioning and branding without reinventing every month or relying on other people’s content to inspire you

🤌 executing the plan rather than making a million tweaks and overthinking

🤌 knowing exactly where you belong, what you bring to the table and how to build a business around your Zone of Genius

🤌 having the strength, resilience and discernment to make BOLD business decisions that move your business forward

What is Doula In Demand?

Doula in Demand is a 6 month business, brand and marketing container for women who are ready to get visible and grow their business.

Most business courses will give you the information. You’ll watch the call, take some notes, feel wildly motivated for 24 hours until life gets in the way…

3 days later when you finally get a minute to sit down again between packing lunchboxes, creating content and actually working in the business, you end up wondering

“Ok…so how do I actually put these notes into practice?”

Doula in Demand is different. I’m walking with you as you build your business in real time, for 6 whole months.

We build your brand, your offers, your pricing, your content, your lead generation, your client experience, your growth strategy.

Because I’m on a mission to make doulas mainstream, but I can’t do that if all the brilliant doulas, like you, are struggling to get clients, are undercharging, burning out or giving up all together.

The worst bit? Other women miss out on support when amazing women can’t make good businesses work long term.

I want women in business to be visible, profitable and sustainable.

Inside DID, you’ll get expert guidance on setting up your business, brand and marketing, as well as tools, strategies and techniques to stand out in a crowd and go from sometimes booked to in demand.

Calls held fortnightly on Thursdays at 10am AEST. Full call schedule, breakdown and Christmas break dates available upon purchase in the DID hub.

MONTH 1 — Becoming the CEO + Building your BOLD brand

Stop treating your doula business like a side project!!!

Straight out of the gate, we’ll establish your 12-month vision, revenue goals, positioning, brand beliefs, niche, story and messaging.

You leave with: a clear business direction, revenue target and brand story that separates you from every other doula in your area.

MONTH 2 — Service suite + content strategy

Create offers for your dream client that ooze your zone of genius and that happen to also be profitable, easy to understand and actually sellable.

Then build the content strategy so that she can see them (& buy them!)

You leave with: a priced, profitable service suite and a content strategy built to sell it.

MONTH 3 — Building your lead engine

Large followings on social media can be great, but they won’t pay the bills on their own.

Together we'll build 1–2 lead channels using lead magnets, email, connect calls, DMs, referrals and networking — then monitor their success in real time.

You leave with: a working lead engine bringing potential clients into your world from more than one source.

MONTH 4 — Creating a client experience that sells for you

YES! You’re booked! Now what?!

We'll map the journey from enquiry to off boarding, tighten your onboarding and communication, and build a client experience that creates confidence, results, testimonials and referrals for long term success.

You leave with: a polished client journey designed to convert, onboard and retain clients at full price — no more discounting yourself into the ground!

MONTH 5 — Building sustainability

I do not want you becoming another burnt-out doula statistic.

We'll work through on-call life, boundaries, capacity and the decisions you need to make as the CEO of a business that is in demand.

You leave with: clear capacity, boundaries and a business model that works at a real client load. Did someone say… scaling?!

MONTH 6 — Launch + forecast

We'll put everything you've built into motion with a complete three-week IG/Email launch, then use your real numbers to forecast income and map the next 12 months so you know where to next…

And then? We celebrate.

You leave with: a launch plan executed, an income forecast you actually believe, and a 12-month roadmap for what comes next.

“Doula in Demand exceeded every expectation I had”

Even on weeks where I didn’t think I had anything else to learn on the topic, there was SO much valuable content each and every week to push my business to the next level. I’m so grateful to Alice for sharing her knowledge and expertise, and the group was a wonderful group of women all wanting to build each other up, which made it even more enjoyable.

“Doula in Demand is a complete game changer”

Could not recommend Doula in demand enough! Alice is a wealth of knowledge and provided so much helpful information, particularly for a new Doula, ensuring things are set up properly from the start with all the right considerations for a successful start to business. Alice’s course seems to fill a gap in the market and covers everything you could need to know about running your own business as a Doula specifically, that other training seems to skip over.

Doula In Demand is for you if…

You’re a freakin’ great doula… but your business doesn’t reflect just how good you are. You crave more visibility, sharper market positioning and desperately want to be able to confidently communicate why someone should choose you.

You’re finally ready to make doula work your actual career — not something you jut squeeze around everything else. You’ve been dreaming of quitting your full time job, but you need solid foundations, systems and a client pipeline to make the dream realistic for you and your family.

You’ve hit the absolute ceiling of ChatGPT business advice and realised it’s not moving the needle in your biz. You know there’s no amount of free downloads that are going to help you now. It’s time to invest in real, human support alongside a community of women in business doing the same.

You’re a seasoned doula who’s ready to go from booked occasionally to in demand. The fluctuation of income is getting tiring, and you never know where your next $ is going to come from. You’re ready to be known for something and to know the enquiries you get are not dependant on luck.

You’re craving confidence, community, and actual tools that make this thing sustainable for the long haul. Doula work can be incredibly lonely, but there’s something powerful about having a room full of women who understand what it’s like to build a business around births, babies and being on-call.

You’re fresh out of doula training and have absolutely no idea where to start with the business stuff. You’re not going to waste time saving instagram reels about hooks and leads. You’re just ready to build it in real time with expert marketing guidance from someone who’s actively walking the walk.

What Doula In Demand isn’t

A pre-recorded course that will collect dust in your inbox

A fully detailed doula course that will teach you the mechanics of birth and stages of labour

A place where you’ll be told how to “manifest” clients with good vibes only

A PDF download you never fill out

A cookie cutter replica of how I’ve built my successful business for you to cut and paste

Business advice that tells you to just “believe in yourself” and “charge more” with zero context

But what if I...

But what if I...

Meet your mentor

The Modern Doula

Why learn from The Modern Doula?

Because you’re learning from someone who’s not only built a successful, award winning doula business from the ground up, but who also has a decade of experience working in media and marketing, creating content and campaigns (on air and online) that actually connect.

I’ve won industry awards for creative audience engagement, and I bring that same know-how to everything I do now as a doula.

On top of this, I have extensive experience in leading teams, developing leaders and helping women reach their full potential in birth and in business.

So yep, I know what it takes to build something that feels aligned and gets noticed.

When I finished my doula training in 2022, I remember thinking… “okay, but how do I actually run a business on my own?”

Thanks to a mix of solid foundations, a great marketing strategy, trial-and-error, and a whole lot of consistency, I’ve been able to grow my doula business to a point where I could leave my full-time marketing job and do this work full time. Plus, I even took out the award for Outstanding Sole Operator in the Local Business Awards in my first year of being fully self-employed.

And the best part? I’m still actively in the work with you.

I’m currently a full-time doula supporting clients, attending births, prepping sessions, cooking meals for postpartum visits—and raising kids at the same time. I know what it feels like to juggle real life with on-call life, and I get the unique needs of our niche A LOT more than our good friend, Claude.

A few things I bring to the table…

  • A thriving doula business of 4+ years that’s been built while juggling motherhood, a full time job and the on-call nature of birth work

  • Created and sold a fully online, self-paced birth education course: Birth Different

  • Experience in hosting online masterclasses and social media challenges for hundreds of biz owners globally

  • Landed organic media coverage in podcasts like Pop That Mumma and Two Doting Dads (without a PR agency)

  • Organised and sold out live in-person events with industry recognised guest speakers like Melanie The Midwife

  • Grew my business Instagram to 17k+ followers completely organically and without a single ad

  • Diversified my income with digital products and downloads

  • Launched a online birth membership hub, Ripple

  • Mentored other birth workers and creatives on growing their businesses

  • A Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications (finished thanks to a gentle but persistent nudge from my Mum, thanks darls)

  • A decade of experience in media, marketing, content creation and branding

If you're looking for someone who understands both the heart and hustle of birth work, you're in the right place.

Collage of images from a media event, including interviews, a presentation on pain reformation, a woman recording a video, a young man and woman posing, a woman at a booth with 'The Modern Doula' signs, a radio station display with 'NOVA 96.9', and a city skyline in the background.

What people shared after Doula in Demand live calls…

Things you might still be wondering:

How long do I get access for?

The course has a lifetime access. Watch and rewatch as many times as you need!

How much time will the course take?

There are 2 × 90 min calls a month with no additional work “required” however you may wish to dedicate an hour or two to implement what’s learned. We also have a group chat which you’re encouraged to utalise for support between calls.

What if I can’t attend live?

All calls are recorded which means you’ll get replays and notes within 24 hours, loaded into your Doula In Demand online hub via Podia.

I’m not a doula, is this for me?

Yes!! The first two rounds of DID were designed for doulas, however based on feedback and the evolution of the program, it is now open to those who are running their own service based businesses that support women.

What if Alice is at a birth and can’t host a call?

On the rare chance this occurs, I’ll aim to give as much notice as possible, and reschedule the call at the earliest convenience.

Can I get 1:1 support?

DID is a group container, but your support is highly personalised. You’ll get individual feedback and coaching through your 6 x content submissions, hot seats on the live calls & our WhatsApp chat support. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get your business in the room with direct feedback and guidance!

Not sure if Doula In Demand is right for you?

Ask yourself this…

Do I want to look back in 12 months time and wish I’d done something sooner to support my business?

Am I ready to start treating my passion as a business, or am I okay with continuing on with it feeling like a hobby?

Do I want to keep guessing, running to AI or downloading another bloody freebie in the hope that something magically clicks?

or

Do I want a strategy, a plan, and someone in my corner to support me in the messy middle?

Still thinking “yeah…buuut?”

I get it. You’ve made it to the VERY end and still have questions. Let me tackle whatever’s holding you back right here, right now.

I’m not sure if I can commit to 6 months…

Yep. Doula in Demand used to be a 12 week course, short, sharp, done and dusted. But after the container finished, it just felt a bit incomplete. As doulas, we ask our clients for 9+ months of commitment, so why can’t you do the same for your business? You actually don’t need more information or modules to power through. You need someone hands on, in the room while you build, test, fix & grow your business, and that takes time and consistency.

It’s a big investment…

Is it? How much are you charging for your doula packages right now?

DID exists to make bookings repeatable. Just one extra client within the 6 months and you’ve made the investment back, plus, you will have learnt rinse and repeat strategies for future bookings. I’ve also created a payment plan option, plus a juicy early bird sale with a BONUS 1:1 strategy call!!

The timing isn’t right…

We start in September, meaning your business and brand is positioned well by October. You’ll be launched before Christmas (with a short break in our schedule for family time) and be ready to go as the exciting new-year bookings land. Sounds PERFECT.

Something I haven’t addressed? Send me an email and let’s chat!

“It's been valuable beyond the price tag for me

Alice’s DID offering is authentic as it gets, and the info really is applicable to any business, not just for doulas. If you're thinking you need to do something to get moving in your business, or move in a different direction i highly recommend DID as a supportive place to be guided and see results.”
